Walking around in the snow I headed to an area of trees when I saw this one along the lake

While not only bridging the gap between the buildings the Greek Ampitheater also serves as a meeting place

This was the first year holiday lights were placed on this large aircraft

In this instance I used the features of the lens to provide some selective focus for this cable car waiting to be turned around and head back to Market Street

Sunset through a Whale Tail Size:11"x14" Walking around in the snowAfter the City and Borough of Juneau completed the dock expansion project they added sculptures where the cruise ships use to tie up along the boardwalk. As I walked along these one evening the sun was starting to set allowing me to posting myself in a location where the sun would be behind the metal. I then used an aperture which would give me a star effect from the sun which also comes through the metal of the sculpture.
